Join us for a refreshing three day retreat (Friday evening through Sunday morning)! Laura Sandretti will be with us for the weekend and will be urging us to go DEEPER: Believe deeper. Love deeper. Know Him deeper. In addition to our main sessions, you'll also be able to attend breakout sessions and enjoy free time (and maybe spa time?)! All women 18 years on up are invited!

Just $150 per person (shared bed) includes 3 meals. If you choose not to share a room, the retreat cost is $300. We have the following types of suites:

  • 1 bedroom suites
  • 2 Bedroom Suites
  • 3 Bedroom Suites

Please check the website page for the schedule and additional details (https://www.myabc.church/osthoff).

You'll have three Saturday Morning Workshops to choose from (you'll be asked which you'll be attending for room space plannning purposes):

  1. "DEEPER THAN SOCIAL MEDIA: Finding identity in God rather than likes." - Michelle Jesko
Imagine that God friended you on social media. What emoji would he choose? He would pick the heart emoji every time. Together we’ll explore how we can live as His beloved daughters, secure in His design, rather than live seeking the approval of others.

Feeding your family can feel like a full-time job. However, it is written, "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." In this session, we'll demonstrate how to both strategize and simplify mealtimes (recipes included!), as well as how to set a place at the table of your life to feast on God's Word each day.

  3. "HOW TO MENTOR AND BE MENTORED" - Two types of mentoring and real life examples.
    Jan Elmendorf and Courtney Ballantyne:
In Titus 2:3-5 Paul instructs Timothy to ask older women to act in the lives of their younger counterparts, teaching them how to be Christians. We need each other today as well, as many young people live far away from parents, and naturally occurring intergenerational community is rare. We invite you into a glimpse of what this bond can look like between two women whom God has paired up as spiritual mother and daughter.
Our second set of mentors, Jo Kowalski and Cathy West, will be sharing what Situational Mentoring looks like:
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.”Isaiah 43:2
Trials and tribulations are certain to come our way. We can trust that the Lord will always be with us.
God’s Word also tells is that we are “to bear one another’s burdens”. Galatians 6:2.

Registration closes January 25, 2020.
