This is a significant responsibility for all who lead. As someone pursuing the role of Discipleship Leader, please review the following;

I have been a believer for more than 10 years and have read through the entire bible at least once.

I look forward to leading another person through Biblical and Theological study.

I am focused on benefiting a disciple in learning the Scriptures and sound doctrine.

I am willing to meet with my disciple twice a month for a year.

I am willing to follow an ABC prescribed curriculum with a primary focus on biblical and theological literacy, including books of the Bible and Wayne Grudem’s Shorter Theology, OR Kevin Deyoung's "Daily doctrine: A one-year guide to Systematic Theology", an investment of approx. $25 [you and your disciple make the choice of which to use].

I commit to avoiding politics and conspiracy theories in discussions with my disciple.

I am willing to meet occasionally with other leaders to encourage one another and gain from their experience.

I commit to attend a Leader Training session (date to be announced) to learn expectations of this role.
